Iron-hard spectacle: Iron Maiden rocks Bremen on July 15th!
Next Tuesday, July 15th, the Bremer Bürgerweide will be the scene of an exceptional event: the legendary band Iron Maiden will give a concert as part of their “Run For Your Lives World Tour”. Fans can look forward to an exciting evening as the event starts at 8 p.m., with entry starting at 5 p.m. Swedish metal band Avatar will take the stage as the opening band at 7:30 p.m. Iron Maiden themselves are expected to be on stage from 8:50 p.m. and end the concert around 10:50 p.m., as the Weser Kurier reports.
It is one of five concerts in Germany. After the appearance in Bremen, shows in Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin are on the program. The tour, which began in Milan in May, includes a total of 32 concerts in Europe. Therefore, the appearance in Bremen is a big deal not only for the locals, but for many metal fans, and the anticipation is palpable.
Expected setlist and weather forecast
The possible songs that the band could bring to the stage include numerous classics and hymns. Fans can look forward to hits like “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” “The Trooper” and “Fear of the Dark,” which are widely expected to be in the setlist. While the setlist hasn't been officially announced yet, the guesses are based on the band's previous concerts, as Rolling Stone reports.
As far as the weather is concerned, visitors should expect temperatures of up to 22 degrees, although there may also be variable cloudiness, light rain and even isolated thunderstorms. Towards the evening temperatures will drop to around 19 degrees and by midnight it could even be 16 degrees. A good reason to take your rain jacket with you!
Arrival options and parking in Bremen
The journey to Bürgerweide could be a bit hectic on the day of the concert. We therefore recommend traveling by public transport. Tram lines 6, 6E and 8 as well as bus lines 24, 26 and 27 stop nearby. Special challenge: Line 8 is currently being diverted. Alternatively, there are several parking garages available in the area. The Bürgerweide itself only has limited parking options, but the ÖVB Arena’s “Parkplus” package is definitely worth it. Parking garages such as the long-distance bus terminal, the old post office and the Breparkhaus City Gate offer additional options.
Tickets are still available, with prices for standing room starting at around 107.50 euros. Those interested can purchase these online or at the box office on the day of the concert from 4 p.m. But be careful: you can only pay in cash at Bürgerweide.
Iron Maiden's concert promises to be an unforgettable experience - so get ready for a night full of music and good vibes!
