JFV Bremen becomes runner-up – excitement in the relegation game!

A rousing encounter took place today in the exciting finale of the football season in the Bremen B-Junior Association League. JFV Bremen secured second place with a 2-1 win over TV Eiche Horn and thus became runner-up. Khaled Almohammed played a key role in the first goal scored by Sam Falih Hayder in the first half. Hayder didn't have to wait long and scored again just before the half-time whistle, which catapulted him to an impressive nine goals this season and secured him second place in the top scorers list. Despite a late goal from TV Eiche Horn, who played outnumbered, JFV Bremen was able to hold on to the win.

The other side of the coin shows Blumenthaler SV II, which suffered a 1-2 defeat against SG Findorff on the last match day. However, this wasn't enough to knock them off the top of the table and they were crowned summer round champions. In the duel with SG Findorff, however, Blumenthal fell behind early on before Rex Obina Anyanwu equalized. A misunderstanding in defense led to an own goal, which secured the victory for SG Findorff. Blumenthal's coach Riza Avdiji is disappointed with the attitude of his players and is now looking ahead to the important relegation game for the Regionalliga Nord against JFV Weyhe-Stuhr.
