But not all public holidays are a reason to be happy for the people of Hamburg, because the day off is not guaranteed on All Saints Day (November 1st), the Three Kings Day (January 6th), Corpus Christi and the Assumption Day. For many it is almost a given that December 24th – Christmas Eve – also offers exciting moments in the festive December, even if it is not a public holiday.
