Christmas spirit in Northern Germany: The Advent calendar of the Lions Clubs of Wolgast, Anklam and Usedom as well as the Rotary Club of Greifswald is also enjoying great popularity this year. In the 15th edition, a total of 4,900 copies were printed - 3,000 by the Lions Club and 1,900 by the Rotary Club. The proceeds, which amount to over 6,000 euros, flow into social projects of the CDF society and support the OZ Christmas campaign “Helping brings joy”, which puts a smile on each of our faces. The sales success shows that the initiative is well received in the region and that people are happy to do good and take advantage of the opportunity to win attractive prices.
This year, numerous prizes are once again attracting customers. On December 6th, some lucky participants were able to win prizes such as a sailing tour voucher worth 170 euros or a honey package worth 60 euros. Being included in the 6th edition of the Rotary Advent Calendar, which started on November 13th, also flatters people's hearts. Rotary Advent Calendar places a clear emphasis on education and a sense of community.
