The anticipation for the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek is increasing! From June 28th to September 13th, 2025, the picturesque open-air theater on the coast will be transformed into a stage for the adventures of Klaus Störtebeker. In what is now the 31st season, spectators can look forward to a gripping piece called “Privateers of the Seas”. In it, Moritz Stephan as Klaus Störtebeker and Alexander Hanfland as Goedeke Michels take visitors on an exciting journey into the world of pirates. Baltic Sea newspaper reports that performances begin at 8 p.m. on weekdays, while on all performance days except the premiere, an impressive flight show with birds of prey awaits viewers at 6 p.m.

Your physical well-being is also taken care of. There is a snack village on the festival grounds with delicious food and drinks. If you would like to bring your own snacks, you can do so on the so-called “feeding meadow”, but not on the festival site itself. There are also clear rules for dogs: four-legged friends are not allowed unless they are medical assistance dogs. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can bring umbrellas, but they must remain closed during the performance.

Tickets and prices

The ticket prices are variable and offer a suitable option for every budget:

• Platzgruppe I (Reihen 1 bis 10): 50 Euro für Erwachsene, 40 Euro für Kinder bis 15 Jahre.
• Platzgruppe VI (Reihen 77 bis 91, nicht nummeriert): 22 Euro für Erwachsene, 12 Euro für Kinder.
• Generalprobe am 27. Juni: 22 Euro für Erwachsene, 17 Euro für Kinder bis 15 Jahre.

There are additional costs of 16 euros for adults and 10 euros for children and young people up to 15 years of age for the air show, but only in conjunction with a regular ticket. If you are curious about the event and want to secure your visit, you can also purchase vouchers that are sent by post and are valid for three years. These vouchers can be redeemed directly in the ticket system, but are not available at ticket offices Störtebeker shop.

Arrival and parking options

There are many ways to get to the festival. Drivers can use free parking spaces south of Ralswiek on the B 96. Shuttle services from the Rügenbahnen are also available. Sea fans have the opportunity to sail from the port of Breege with the Kipp shipping company. The cost is 27.50 euros for adults and 15.50 euros for children aged 4 to 14. If you would like to take the bus connection, you can use line 12 from central Bergen to the “Ralswiek fire brigade” station. The last bus is at 11 p.m., while the last regional train during the week leaves for Stralsund at 10:29 p.m Störtebeker Festival 2025.
