There was also a more serious accident on the B96 between Sagard and Sassnitz, in which a 19-year-old came off the road in a curve and collided with a 56-year-old. Both women suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital. The federal highway had to be closed for an hour and the property damage amounted to around 30,000 euros.

Another accident occurred near Bad Kleinen, where two cars collided due to the slippery road, fortunately without anyone being injured.
