On December 13th, the Rostock Ostseestadion will be the venue for an XXL Christmas singing. Again Northern Courier reported, the event begins at 5 p.m., with gates opening at 3:30 p.m. With around 12,000 participants expected, this event is an absolute highlight, and not just for the locals. Adults can pay 11 euros for standing room and 15 euros for seats, children pay 5 euros for standing room and 7 euros for seats. The buffet in the boxes is also available for 129.71 euros. The ticket price includes a candle, a drip protector and a songbook. Tickets are available online via the Rostock Folk Theater or available in the Hansa fan shops.

Diverse Christmas songs throughout the country

In addition to the big Christmas singing in the Ostseestadion, numerous other events are planned. In Güstrow, for example, the 31st “Schnick Schnack” Christmas singing will take place on December 6th at 8:30 p.m., where two singers and guitarists will perform Christmas carols together with those present.

Schwerin will be the meeting point for “Schwerin sings” on December 14th from 6 p.m. Here the event is supported by various choirs and a wind orchestra. Last year there were around 1,000 participants despite the rain, and a similar number can be expected this year.

Another highlight will take place on December 2nd at 6 p.m. in the Georgen Church in Wismar. Here, 1,000 people can look forward to a free concert with a children's choir and a big band. The people of Neubranden are also invited to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere with 600 other singers on December 5th at 6 p.m. in the Regional Museum.

Special highlights in December

For the youngest, there will be a bet for 150 Santa Clauses at the Rewe shopping market in Angermünde on December 5th at 5 p.m., while Stralsund will be hosting a Christmas carol singing in the culture tent on the Old Market on December 20th. The radiant Santa Claus and winter treats make the day complete.

After a busy day, everyone can look forward to the after-show party on December 20th in Greifswald, where not only will there be singing, but there will also be lots of activities for children. This shows that singing Christmas carols is very popular throughout the region and brings people together.

While northern Germans are looking forward to the diverse events, it remains to be hoped that winter will also provide the right backdrop. The magic of Christmas music and community are sure to give you goosebumps and unforgettable memories.
