He estimates that a new construction of the facility would cost around six million euros, a sum that is not wearable for Cölpin.

While the discussions in the district council continue, Jugend- und Socialwerk gGmbH (JUS) as the carrier of the daycare center emphasizes its decades of efforts to preserve the "bumblebees nest". The association has tried to renovate the daycare center with funding for seven years. However, the estimated costs of almost four million euros for the comprehensive rescue of the ailing building can simply not be broken. In the meantime, the JUS 16 daycare centers have established over 1800 care places and is therefore one of the largest non-profit organizations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
