Neubrandenburg Lindetal Center: Rossmann is moving and growing!

Neubrandenburg is facing exciting changes, especially in the popular Lindetal Center. Again Northern Courier reports, Rossmann has announced that it will expand its sales area in the shopping center. The move to a currently vacant rental space near the escalators is planned for the beginning of 2026, while the renovation is scheduled to begin in 2024. This is happening against the background that the drugstore needs a larger sales area in order to meet the growing demands of its customers.

With currently 35 tenants in the Lindetal Center, the shopping center is already a frequent destination. Well-thought-out planning also ensures barrier-free access to the shopping street on all floors. This means that customers with strollers, walkers or wheelchairs can easily use the two passenger elevators to reach level 0.

Events and offers in the Lindetal Center

The Lindetal Center also has exciting events in store, such as the Advent market and flea market, which will take place on December 7, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Here visitors can look forward to Christmas stands with various offers. These include honey, wax candles and homemade decorations from local suppliers. The children's program also promises a lot of fun, with Clowndine conjuring up balloon figures from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., as well as craft activities for the little ones.

For model building fans, the Modellsportverein Neubrandenburg e. V. is causing a stir with a presentation of electric model cars on two race tracks and is also looking for young talent. The change in retail

However, shopping centers are not without their challenges. A survey by PwC shows that despite rising inflation and uncertain consumer prices, the centers are still an important part of everyday shopping life. 35 percent of participants visit a shopping center at least once a week, while 71 percent do so at least once a month. Interestingly, 61 percent of those surveyed go to a shopping center without consuming anything - an indication that shopping centers are not only places for purchases, but also social meeting places.

Although many consumers express the high demand for leisure and catering offerings, there is a large discrepancy in the provision of these offerings. The catering industry is particularly in demand, but only 46 percent of operators meet this demand. The Lindetal Center could score points here with additional attractions and thus further consolidate its role in retail.

Overall, the Lindetal Center remains an important player in Neubrandenburg retail and is constantly developing. The upcoming changes show that developments are worth keeping an eye on.
