Neubrandenburg's youth art school: Choir for young talents starts soon!

In the youth art school in Neubrandenburg, something exciting will soon be happening: Heike Wiehle is now enriching the team with their passion for music and extensive experience. She started classic guitar lessons at the tender age of seven and continuously expanded her musical skills. With a broad interest in various instruments and singing, she will create the "Young Arts" choir after the summer vacation. The goal? Young people should experience the energy, connection and joy of singing up close, reports Strelitzius .

Heike Wiehle designs the new choir not only as a musical area, but rather as a place of creativity, where children and adolescents can try out their voices and instruments. It attaches great importance to applicable songs and the promotion of musical skills. The joy of the advances of the children and their pride when making music make their eyes shine. There is already a first offer before the summer vacation: From August 19 to 21, children from 9 years of age can sing songs from all over the world - without any previous knowledge. The number of participants is limited and registration is required at Musik@junge-kuenste.de or by phone at 0395-77824724

music pedagogy in focus

Heike Wiehle brings a comprehensive knowledge of music education that she achieved during her training at the Brahms Conservatory. The course usually takes eight semesters and prepares prospective music educators for the profession. In addition to theoretical focuses such as pedagogical psychology and developmental psychology, the training also includes practical aspects such as musical individual and group lessons, such as the brahms-Konservatory reports.

The combination of music theory, performance and pedagogy is the heart of music education. It aims to facilitate access to music and at the same time promote cognitive and social skills. Music is viewed as an important educational instrument that not only enriches individual learning, but also strengthens social cohesion. Another advantage of music pedagogy: It is practiced in schools, music schools and many other institutions, which means that the career prospects for graduates are promising, such as Training compass

personal fulfillment and challenges

graduates of music education are open in many professional fields - from music teachers to music therapists or freelance music educators. The places of work are as diverse as the tasks: whether in schools, universities or care facilities, music is seen everywhere as a valuable element of education. Nevertheless, there are also challenges: high demands and stress can shape everyday work. It is all the more important that prospective music educators develop good time management and regular practice in order to be able to think about the required expectations.

The commitment of Heike Wiehle and the advisory offer of the youth art school will help to promote the musical interest of young people and to develop their talents. With the new choir and exciting holiday offers, an inspiring space for creative development is created in Neubrandenburg.
