Neubrandenburg's youth art school: choir for young talents starting soon!
Something very exciting is about to happen at the Neubrandenburg Youth Art School: Heike Wiehle is now enriching the team with her passion for music and extensive experience. She began classical guitar lessons at the tender age of seven and has continuously expanded her musical skills. With a broad interest in various instruments and singing, she will start the “Young Arts” choir after the summer holidays. The goal? Young people should experience the energy, connection and joy of singing first hand, reports Strelitzius.
Heike Wiehle is designing the new choir not just as a musical space, but rather as a place of creativity where children and young people can try out their voices and instruments. She attaches great importance to applicable songs and the promotion of musical skills. The joy of the children's progress and their pride in making music make their eyes shine. There is already a first offer before the summer holidays: from August 19th to 21st, children aged 9 and over can sing songs from all over the world - without any prior knowledge. The number of participants is limited and registration is required at musik@junge-kuenste.de or by phone at 0395-77824724.
Focus on music education
Heike Wiehle brings with her extensive knowledge of music education, which she acquired during her training at the Brahms Conservatory. The course usually lasts eight semesters and prepares prospective music educators for their careers. In addition to theoretical focuses such as educational psychology and developmental psychology, the training also includes practical aspects such as individual and group musical lessons Brahms Conservatory reported.
The combination of music theory, performance and pedagogy is the heart of music education. It aims to make it easier for people of all ages to access music while promoting cognitive and social skills. Music is viewed as an important educational tool that not only enriches individual learning, but also strengthens social cohesion. Another advantage of music education: It is practiced in schools, music colleges and many other institutions, which means that the career prospects for graduates are promising Training compass shows.
Personal fulfillment and challenges
Music education graduates have many careers open to them - from music teachers to music therapists or freelance music educators. The places of work are just as diverse as the tasks: whether in schools, universities or care facilities, music is seen as a valuable element of education everywhere. However, there are also challenges: high demands and stress can characterize everyday working life. It is all the more important that aspiring music educators develop good time management and regular practice in order to be able to think about the required expectations.
Heike Wiehle's commitment and the advisory services offered by the youth art school will help to promote young people's musical interest and develop their talents. With the new choir and exciting holiday offers, an inspiring space for creative development is being created in Neubrandenburg.
