The participants and spectators can look forward to a colorful mix of comrades from Jördenstorf, Teterow, Hohen Demzin, Groß Roge, Groß Wüstenfelde and Groß Wokern. The framework for this parade is a rousing marching band from Ticino, which provides the musical accompaniment while the firefighters and their vehicles parade by. Where are the comrades going from the official fire brigade day? A large gathering is planned on the meadow between Gnewitz and Stubbendorf in the Rostock district. Various exercises are on the agenda here, such as firefighting attacks and the three-way fight by the youth fire brigade. Fire departments from Dettmannsdorf and Dresden will also be represented at the 100th anniversary celebrations.
