On June 27, 2025, the police in Schwerin are looking for a 12-year-old boy named Esmatullah N. The young person left his parents' apartment in the Mueßer Holz district on June 26, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. to go to the Bertolt-Brecht School, but never arrived there. The last contact with his father was at 9:55 a.m., when Esmatullah telephoned to say he was not at school. Since then there has been no information about his whereabouts. Despite intensive investigations and searches, the boy has so far remained untraceable.

The description of the missing Esmatullah N. is as follows: He is around 170 cm tall, has a slim build and dark, medium-length hair.
