Eintracht Braunschweig has introduced its first external signing for the coming season, central defender Lukas Frenkert. The 24-year-old player is moving from SC Preußen Münster on a free transfer and has signed a contract until June 30, 2027 with an option to extend. This deal is made possible by the positive perception of the club and Frenkert's own ambitions, as he himself emphasizes. Clubsport managing director Benjamin Kessel also praised the skills of the newcomer, who made 25 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga last season and scored three goals and two assists.

Frenkert, who started at SC Preußen Münster in his youth, is 1.90 meters tall and has impressive height, which will be important for Eintracht's defensive line.
