Eintracht Braunschweig separates from Puma: an era ends!

Eintracht Braunschweig and the sporting goods manufacturer Puma are going their separate ways after the 2024/2025 season. This decision was officially announced on June 13, 2025. The partnership, which was revived in 2021, follows an initial period together from 2007 to 2013. During this time, Puma not only provided the Lions with jerseys, but also provided the women's and youth teams as well as numerous departments of BTSV Eintracht von 1895 e.V. with appropriate playing clothing. What is particularly noteworthy is that Eintracht was able to celebrate promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga under Puma's equipment and achieved three relegation games. Wolfram Benz, commercial director of Eintracht, expressly thanked them for the professional cooperation that took place throughout the entire partnership.

Puma also spoke positively about the partnership and wished Eintracht Braunschweig all the best for the future. The mutual appreciation and shared successes became clear in the published statements. Eintracht Braunschweig will now look for a new supplier to fill the gap left by Puma. However, who that could be remains uncertain at the moment.

A new supplier is in the starting blocks

There are rumors about a possible successor to Puma, and Umbro seems to be very popular in this regard. According to a report in the “Braunschweiger Zeitung”, the Umbro brand, which has had a licensing agreement with the sportswear brand Castore since March 2024, could be interesting for Eintracht Braunschweig. However, the club has not yet made an official announcement about who could take over.

The collaboration between Eintracht Braunschweig and Puma began in its current form with the 2021/22 season after the previous outfitter Erima did not extend the contract. Eintracht's top priority was to show a good hand in selecting their supplier, which they have achieved in the past. Kai Kuhlmann, Senior Teamhead Sports Marketing Central Europe at Puma, remembered the successful story that they were able to build together. Marcel Meißner from eckball.de, Puma's sales partner, also made it clear how important the partnership is for Eintracht's image and brand.

It remains to be seen whether Eintracht will experience similar successful times under their new supplier as they did under Puma. The fans are excited to see which partner will adorn Eintracht's jersey in the future. The signs point to change and we can look forward to the next developments!
