On October 8, 2025 at 5 p.m. there will be an incisive lecture on professional reintegration in the Oncological Forum in Celle. The event is organized in cooperation with the Integration Specialist Service (IFD) and is aimed at people with (imminent) severe disabilities and their employers. The topics of the lecture are professional support and important information about reintegration in accordance with SGB IX. The event offers an excellent opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about the help options available.

The Integration Specialist Service (IFD)
The IFD is an important contact for employers who want to employ severely disabled people. According to information from the Federal Employment Agency, the IFD supports people in finding suitable training and jobs. In addition, the assessment of the skills and interests of those affected is promoted in order to ensure optimal preparation for the labor market. Another central aspect of the IFD's work is supporting people at work or during training.
The IFD specialists also offer information and advice to employees in the company in order to promote understanding of the disability and corresponding rules of conduct. They also offer follow-up care and psychosocial support. These services are provided on behalf of the Federal Employment Agency, integration offices or rehabilitation providers.
