Wigald Boning and Bernhard Hoëcker inspire a sold-out audience in Celle!

On Saturday evening, November 2nd, 2025, the sold-out Hall 10 of the CD-Kaserne in Celle was transformed into a place of laughter and entertainment. The two popular comedians Bernhard Hoëcker and Wigald Boning thrilled the audience with their joint program “Good Question”. How Celle newspaper reports, the guests were given the unique opportunity to ask questions directly, which made the evening particularly interactive.

Wigald Boning, known for his humorous anecdotes, spoke, among other things, about his daily bath and recalled the picturesque pond in the French Garden. He also presented the lyrics to his famous Celle song from 2013, which further increased the nostalgia factor. The chemistry between the two comedians was obvious, especially with their stories about road trips and the always exciting world of geocaching.

An evening full of anecdotes

The two comedians met on the set of “Brilliantly Next,” which they used as the perfect start to their evening together. Boning remembered with a smile how nervous he was when Hugo Egon Balder sent him the invitation. Humorous anecdotes, such as the story about accidentally stepping on a canary, repeatedly interrupted the two comedians and caused plenty of laughter in the audience.

Particularly worth mentioning were Boning's thoughts about a possible reunion with Olli Dietrich from their time together on "Doofen", which, however, depends on financial aspects. To round off the evening, Hoëcker and Boning sang the well-known hit “Mief” together, which encouraged the audience to sing along loudly.

The role of comedy in Germany

Hoëcker and Boning's performances are not only an expression of their talent, but also part of a broader trend in the German comedy scene that, according to Ranker has produced numerous notable artists. From Mike Nichols, the famous comedian and director, to Barbara Schöneberger, who delights with her charm and wit, Germany showcases an impressive variety of comedic talent. These artists are redefining the boundaries of comedy and inspiring emerging talent in the entertainment industry.

Boning and Hoëcker have contributed to entertaining audiences and enriching the cultural landscape with their creative approach and commitment. It remains to be hoped that such evenings will continue to focus on good questions and bring many more laughs to the audience.
