According to the company's own information, the termination of the contract with Atlas was mutually agreed upon, which, according to sporting director Stephan Ehlers, had been foreseeable for some time. The 20-year-old will now train under the guidance of his father, Timo Szybora, which will certainly give him a special motivation. In recent months, the young player has rarely had the opportunity to prove himself on the pitch and only made five short appearances for Atlas.
The reasons for this change are varied. Changes in squad planning enabled Szybora to find his way back to a club where he had already played in his youth. FC Cuxhaven, which finished in midfield in the Lüneburg IV district league last season, sees great potential in Szybora and is looking forward to the talent's return. He was officially introduced as a new player on Tuesday. Club chairman Mentor Grapci emphasized that despite his limited playing time at Atlas, Szybora gained valuable experience and benefited greatly from the intensive training sessions.
