VfB Lübeck fights back: 2:2 against Kickers Emden!

The fans of VfB Lübeck experienced a thrilling football game yesterday, Sunday, when their team achieved a 2-2 draw against BSV Kickers Emden in the Lohmühle. In front of 2,892 spectators, it was a turbulent ten minutes in the first half when the guests took the lead.

In the 11th minute, Tido Steffens scored the first goal for Emden, followed by a header from Felix Göttlicher in the 21st minute, which made the game 0-2. Lübeck struggled at first, but got into the game better towards the end of the first half. Antonio Verinac brought the team back into the game shortly before the half-time whistle with a goal in the 45th minute after he was there after a corner.

Strong second half and comeback

After halftime, VfB increasingly took control of the game. In the 75th minute it was Verinac again who scored the deserved equalizer after Pulido's preparatory work. Lübeck pushed for victory in the final stages and Pulido had the best opportunity with a left-footed long-range shot that didn't end up in the goal. This draw was particularly important as it ended the negative streak of four consecutive defeats.

Now we turn our attention to the next opponent: On Friday, October 31st, VfB Lübeck will face FC Teutonia Ottensen. The team will certainly do everything they can to get back on track to victory in this home game.

A look beyond sport

In addition to the exciting football events in Lübeck, there is also good news from the world of museums. The Boola Bardip Museum in Perth (Australia) provided information about new barrier-free offerings. Access is facilitated for all visitors, with six elevators and facilities for people with special needs. The information desk offers comprehensive services such as the provision of wheelchairs, and there is also a parents' room, which offers great support, especially for young families.

Public WiFi and a special quiet hour for people with sensory needs round off the offer. Particularly impressive are the tactile maps and Braille visitor guides, available free of charge at the information desk to ensure an enriching experience for all visitors. Information about special tours is also available and can be requested by email.

While sport in Lübeck developed positively, cultural and educational institutions around the world also scored points with their offerings. The message is clear: both areas value an inclusive and accessible experience that benefits everyone.
