Göttingen, Deutschland - The city center of Göttingen turns into a lively backdrop full of color and creativity: on July 4, 2025, the highly expected Göttingen graffiti walk starts. This urban art project, which will run over a period of twelve weeks, ensures that the city becomes an open-air gallery. Already at the opening event on July 4th and 5th there is exciting hands-on activities for the citizens on the forecourt and the Jacobikirchhof: inside. The project is started with the design of nine large overseas containers by talented regional artists: inside like Malte Orth, Dominic Kramer and Agatha Czarny. These containers are placed at eight distinctive locations in the city center, including the train station and the university's central campus. The accompanying program is supplemented by music, street food and additional hands-on activities, so that visitors are well entertained: inside.
