A tragic traffic accident caused horror in the Goslar region today. There was a fatal incident on the B243 between Bornhausen and Seesen at 10:35 a.m. in which a 41-year-old motorcyclist lost his life. The man from Hanover was driving behind a Hyundai whose 60-year-old driver from Ludwigshafen turned left onto a dirt road without the motorcyclist noticing. The overtaking process ended in a collision that had fatal consequences. Despite immediate resuscitation measures by first aiders, the motorcyclist could only be rescued dead. The car driver suffered shock during the tragic incident and had to receive psychological care on site.
While police closed the route and diverted traffic, news of this tragic accident caused great consternation among local residents. Both the stress caused by the accident and the church bells that rang that early morning made the severity of the situation noticeable.
Burglaries in Bad Harzburg
