Hamelen fencing stars conquer district championships with medal rain!
Last Saturday there was a special sporting highlight of a special kind: the district championships of the Hanover fencing district. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the fencing department of TC Hameln, the event was a successful festival, which brought together almost 50 enthusiastic fencers from the region. Like awesa , the TC Hameln won in an impressive way and got numerous medals.
Although the season is coming to an end and partially the motivation subsides, the atmosphere was characterized by exciting duels and fair competitions. Co -organizer Volker Friedrich expressed himself optimistic and hopes to increase the number of participants at future events. In addition, numerous supporters - from supervisors to family members - provided a great atmosphere and took a large part in the competitions.
Hamelen dominance in the U20
The dominance of the Hamelen fencers in the U20 category was particularly impressive. Lasse Klages secured first place, followed by Fredrik Mies and Richard Schneider, who took second and third place. The TC Hameln can look forward to seven gold medals, three silver and four bronze medals. There were outstanding services in the different age groups.
