Lüneburg shines at the 45th International Hanseatic Day in Visby!

Lüneburg, Deutschland - from June 5th to 8th, 2025, the 45th International Hanseatic Day took place in the charming Visby in Sweden. Right in the middle: A committed delegation from Lüneburg, which under the direction of City Councilor Matthias Rink presented the North German flair and the cultural diversity of the city. At his side, the youth Hanse representative Kristin Heuer and the artist Simone Fezer, who showed a special performance on the subject of "relationships" as part of the Hansartworks. They made it clear that Lüneburg not only has a significant story, but is also active and creative in the present.

With a striking presence on the Hansmarkt, which united 78 Hanseatic cities, the Lüneburg delegation was a real eye -catcher. This was not only about advertising for the city, but also about strengthening economic networking and promoting sustainable concepts. The exchange took place in many areas, for example in tourism and under the motto "Faire Hanse", which focuses on just and sustainable practices.
