Fedderwarden celebrates under sunshine: village festival inspires everyone!

The popular village festival took place in Fedderwarden on June 15, 2025 under bright blue sky, which this time was under the motto "Hollywood greetings". The festival was organized by the committed citizens' association Fedderwarden in cooperation with local dealers and local companies. In summer temperatures, the celebrations attracted hundreds of visitors to Poststrasse, which turned into a pulsating festival mile. The stand of the market women who offered homemade and manual products was also very frequented and enjoyed great popularity. The commitment of the citizens' association, which was founded on October 30, 1909 and thus looks back on a long tradition, showed itself not only during the festival, but also in numerous other activities such as the annual maypole setting and celebrating the harvest crown.

The citizens' association has established itself as a central point of contact for the village community and pursues the promotion of home care, nature and customs care. The current board of directors, under the direction of Anja Mandt as 1st chair, tirelessly works to actively shape village life and to offer all age groups a space.
