New Sure Hotel in Wilhelmshaven: North Sea industry on the rise!

Something is happening in the hotel industry in Wilhelmshaven! How AHGZ reports, BWH Hotels Central Europe is planning an exciting expansion on the North Sea coast. The Sure Hotel by Best Western City Hotel Wilhelmshaven will be part of this project and will bring a breath of fresh air to the region.

A few days ago it was announced that the City Hotel Valois would now be run as the Sure Hotel by Best Western City Hotel Wilhelmshaven. This rebranding is part of a comprehensive plan to rejuvenate the hotel, which is set to undergo a major renovation over the next 12 months. Top hotel adds that the hotel has a total of 74 rooms in four different categories, so that both business travelers and holidaymakers get their money's worth.

Location and offers

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Wilhelmshaven, just a stone's throw away from Germany's largest deep-sea port and various maritime research and educational institutions. Ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the city's maritime flair! The offering includes a restaurant and a separate bar, and the lobby also offers a free selection of coffee and tea. The city's largest public parking garage is directly opposite, providing additional convenience for drivers.

“We have a good hand when it comes to developing our hotels,” says Daniel Klasing, the operator of the Beepartment hotel. “The renovations will present the hotel in the best light and make it even more attractive under the full Best Western brand.” This transformation represents a significant step for BWH Hotels as they look to further expand their presence on the German North Sea coast. Krauss knows that the German hotel market currently generates sales of around 17 billion euros and is expected to grow to 18 billion euros by 2028. One can only wish that the Sure Hotel is part of this growth.

The challenges of the industry

Current challenges such as rising costs and the shortage of skilled workers have a major impact on the hotel industry. Demand for overnight stays increased tremendously in 2022, from both domestic and foreign guests, showing that the industry has a lot to offer despite all the odds. Digitalization and sustainability are other central topics that will shape the future of the hotel industry.

The upcoming renovations in Wilhelmshaven are not only a sign of the company's optimism, but also a clear commitment to the importance of the hotel industry for German tourism as a whole. The hotel company invests in its properties not only to remain competitive, but also to show care for its guests.

It will therefore be exciting to see how the Sure Hotel by Best Western City Hotel Wilhelmshaven will develop in the coming months. Maybe soon a new address for everyone who wants to discover the beauty of the North Sea coast!
