Star run in Seester: Together for terminally ill children!

Seester, Deutschland - on Sunday, June 29th, this year's in Seester . This benefit run supports terminally ill children and adolescents as well as their families in Kinder-Hospiz Sternenbrücke . Under the patronage of Doris Kunstmann, the event will be a complete success, and even in any weather!

The star run is aimed at everyone who likes to do sports and want to do good at the same time. This year, participants can compete in various disciplines such as running, walking and Nordic walking. The route lengths vary from 3 km to 10 km, and even the smallest athletes can participate on the Bambini route.

The event begins in the morning with the start of the Bambinis at 9:00 a.m., followed by a runner service in the St. Johannes Church at 9:30 a.m. The other starts are planned as follows:

  • 10:30 p.m.: Start 10 km runner
  • 10:35 a.m.: Start 5 km runner
  • 10:40 p.m.: Start 3 km runner, walker, Nordic Walker and people with a handicap (1 km route)

Registration is possible by June 22nd at 6 p.m., with a entry fee between 8 and 14 euros to be paid. In addition to meals on the route, various snacks and drinks are available for the participants in the target area, including water, fruit and grill sausage. Medals are distributed to all Bambini finisher, and the best of the different running routes have the chance of material prices.

So far, the star run has been able to collect almost 60,000 euros in donations. These flow into the important work of the children's hospice, which offers support and relief for the families concerned. The motto of the hospice is: "We can no longer give life for life, but we can live more on the days" - a statement that underlines the valuable work of the team.

The children's hospice Sternenbrücke offers comprehensive support for terminally ill children and adolescents up to 27 years. The facility enables a dignified path to death and offers relief care, stabilization of the family system and grief support for relatives.

As part of the supporting program, participants and visitors have the opportunity to secure functional shirts and tank tops in bright colors, whereby part of the proceeds are also donated to the hospice. The shirts cost 15 euros, whereby 2 euros are provided directly for the support of the children's hospice.
