Last weekend, music lovers in Elmshorn were once again enveloped in fast-paced sounds Lots of Harmony Orchestra Elmshorn There was an inspiring concert under the direction of Wolf Tobias Maximilian Müller. With a wide repertoire of film music and classical pieces, the 52 active musicians delighted guests both foreseeable and from afar.
On the initiative of the SoVD local branch Elmshorn/Sparrieshoop, the concert evening took place in a festive atmosphere. What's interesting is that entry was free for anyone interested in music that evening. A real bright spot for those who wanted to enjoy the sounds of the orchestra, although attendance may have suffered due to the warm weather which left some seats empty.

The orchestra impresses with its versatile instrumentation of percussion as well as woodwind and brass instruments. Thanks to the combination of these timbres, a unique sound is created that is very popular in the region. In addition to classical melodies, the musicians also played pieces from popular Disney films, which enchanted the audience. The highlight of the evening was a rousing “Queen Medley” that was offered after two encores!
The members of the orchestra are of different ages, which gives the ensemble a special dynamic. The weekly rehearsals are divided into set rehearsals for woodwind and brass instruments, which take place under Christoph Schulz, and overall rehearsals, which Müller is responsible for. These diverse rehearsal formats strengthen the cohesion and musical quality of the orchestra.
