An exciting summer festival for explorers big and small awaits at Citti-Park Kiel! The exhibition “What Water Can Do” is on display here until July 19th, which introduces visitors to the diverse properties of water. Water, which covers over 70 percent of our earth and even makes up 63 percent of our bodies, can be experienced in an entertaining way through interactive stations and exciting experiments. This event is aimed at all ages and promotes interest in scientific phenomena.
In the exhibition, guests can try out impressive stations. The Coriolis fountain shows how whirlpools rotate during the tornado demonstrated the power of rotating air masses. A very special highlight is this flow sphere, which appears to float weightlessly in the air during the “sinking ship” makes the physical forces clear. The vacuum fountain, from which water flows without any visible drive, also captivates visitors.
A colorful summer program
In order to properly celebrate summer, Citti-Park Kiel has also put together an extensive program of activities. From August 7th to 9th and August 28th to 30th, adventure seekers can Quattro High Jump test their jumping skills up to a height of eight meters. A unique opportunity for anyone who wants to try their hand at lofty heights! For the little adventurers there is also a children's climbing garden, which is open on July 12th and between July 31st and August 2nd.
Not to be forgotten is the inflatable labyrinth, which attracts game enthusiasts on several weekends, including July 17th to 19th and August 14th to 16th. The “Playmaker” campaign, which takes place every Thursday to Saturday until September 6th, rounds off the great summer offer and ensures unforgettable experiences in Citti Park.
