The destruction of public property in particular raises questions that affect us all. While creative forms of expression certainly have their place, vandalism remains a sensitive issue that continues to pose new challenges to society. The police and local authorities therefore have a duty to continue to ensure safety and cleanliness in our cities.
Whether we enrich public space with color campaigns or devalue it through vandalism is up to each and every one of us. Only together can we ensure that our cities remain worth living in.
