Cruises 2025: Bremerhaven attracts with 100 attempts and 300,000 passengers!

At the end of Rickmersstraße in Bremerhaven, a hustle and bustle has set up, because the 2025 cruise season is in full swing. The Bremerhaven Cruise Port has so far recorded impressive 100 attempts from cruise ships. Especially in the summer months, the ships create here, and around 300,000 passengers take the opportunity to set sail or explore Bremerhaven. These numbers impressively show that Bremerhaven has established itself as an important destination in the cruise business. The shipping companies Tui Cruises, with their popular "Mein Schiff" models, as well as Phoenix Reisen, who are traveling with various ships such as the "MS Amera" and "MS Germany", shape the picture in the harbor.

Visitors have the opportunity to observe the impressive ships at the visitor gallery in Steubenstrasse 7. This gallery is open on departure days from 8:00 a.m. to half an hour after taking the ship and has both an elevator and a staircase. The sound of the ship horn is easy to hear in many districts, which also creates a maritime mood.

And that's just the beginning! The ships are guests with us until autumn. On June 27, 2025, for example, the MS ARTANIA and MS Germany are on the plan, both will arrive and take off on the same day. Over 150 ships are planned all year round, whereby appointments can also be subject to reservation.

The Columbus Cruise Center Bremerhaven, which was inaugurated on May 2, 2003, serves as a point of contact for the ships and their passengers. With its location, just about two kilometers from the city center, it becomes easy to reach and offers the perfect opportunity to explore the city or to go on a new adventure.
