Cruises 2025: Bremerhaven attracts with 100 calls and 300,000 passengers!
At the end of Rickmersstrasse in Bremerhaven there is a lot of activity as the 2025 cruise season is in full swing. The Bremerhaven Cruise Port has recorded an impressive 100 cruise ship calls so far. Ships dock here, especially in the summer months, and around 300,000 passengers take the opportunity to set sail or explore Bremerhaven. These figures impressively show that Bremerhaven has established itself as an important destination in the cruise business. The shipping companies TUI Cruises, with their popular “Mein Schiff” models, as well as Phoenix Reisen, which travels with various ships such as the “MS Amera” and “MS Deutschland”, shape the image in the port.
Visitors have the opportunity to observe the impressive ships in the visitor gallery at Steubenstrasse 7. This gallery is open on departure days from 8:00 a.m. until half an hour after the ship departs and has both an elevator and stairs. The sound of the ship's horn can be heard clearly in many parts of the city, which also creates a maritime atmosphere.

And that's just the beginning! The ships will be our guests until autumn. For example, the MS Artania and the MS Deutschland are scheduled for June 27, 2025, both will arrive and leave again on the same day. Over 150 ship calls are planned throughout the year, although dates may also be subject to change.
The Columbus Cruise Center Bremerhaven, which was inaugurated on May 2, 2003, serves as a contact point for the ships and their passengers. With its location just about two kilometers from the city center, it becomes easily accessible and offers the perfect opportunity to explore the city or embark on a new adventure.
