Breminale 2025: A festival full of music and environmental awareness!
The anticipation is increasing: from July 9th to 13th, 2025, the Breminale on the banks of the Weser will once again provide unforgettable moments. This year's motto “See you at the dike” gives hope for a varied program. Organized by Bremen Zwei, the popular festival offers numerous performances and a new concept that focuses more on live music. The backdrop at Osterdeich also promises a picturesque atmosphere for all music fans and families.
“We want to sort the content and genres better to avoid duplication,” explains David Weingärtner, the interim director of the festival. Program organizer Sophia Lebeck adds that a real treat awaits the audience, as the Radio-Bremen-Bühne has put together a rearranged program for every day. On the opening day, performances will include the energetic “Holler My Dear”, the indie folk band “Black Sea Dahu” and the experimental Jesper Munk, who ensures musical intimacy and intensity with his backing band The Cassette Heads. The artists bring a breath of fresh air and new topics to the stage, ranging from empathy to environmental problems.
A program for all generations
The Breminale awaits a wide audience: from little fans of the children's Breminale in the park to lovers of up-and-coming newcomers on the “Schleuse” stage. New to the program include performances by “POP Office Bremen”, “musicHBwomen*” and a cooperation with the Berlin podcast “Hip Hop Lebt”.
- Radio Bremen Bühne: Holler My Dear, Black Sea Dahu, Jesper Munk (09. Juli)
- Donnerstag: Bremen Next
- Freitag: Bremen Eins
- Samstag/Sonntag: Bremen Vier, in Kooperation mit dem Schlachthof am Sonntag
In addition, the “Flut” stage in the LichtLuftBad will offer an experience of concerts, installations and dance. Exciting activities are planned for the children in the children's playground in the park, and accessibility has also been improved. A wheelchair podium and WiFi streaming for people with hearing impairments are just some of the new features that make the festival more accessible.
Sustainability and community
Another highlight of the festival: The organizers do not use disposable tableware and offer free drinking water. Over 150 solidarity tickets for a good cause have already been sold and the goal is at least 1,500 tickets. To support the Breminale, raspberry-rosemary liqueur will be offered, from the sale of which 5 euros per bottle will go to the event.
If you want to embark on a musical journey of discovery, we recommend the Breminale. Whether relaxed music on the park stage or pulsating sounds on the “Pappinale Krakinale” stage – there should be something for everyone. Be excited about the diversity of talent that will gather in this unique location. As Bremen Zwei reports, the Breminale will certainly once again be a place where music and community are at the forefront.
Fascinating performances, new ideas and a breath of fresh air: Breminale 2025 promises to be an unforgettable experience. Visit the event and let yourself be enchanted by the sounds of the banks of the Weser!
