Halden concerts on the Lower Rhine: music, snacks and historic vehicles!
Next weekend it will be musically and culinaryly colorful at the dumps in Moers and Neukirchen-Vluyn! The Lower Rhine cultural projects have put together a varied program. Lovers of live music will get their money's worth as will those interested in culinary delights.
The event starts on Saturday, June 21st at the Norddeutschland dump in Neukirchen-Vluyn. From 7 p.m., the “Ensemble Noisten” will provide an exciting atmosphere, which is known for its klezmer and other styles of music. If you want to enjoy a relaxed evening with good music, you shouldn't miss this event, according to radiokw.de.
Musical diversity and historical highlights
The following day, Sunday June 22nd, promises to be no less exciting. In Moers on the Rheinpreußen dump, the musical spectacle begins at 2 p.m. The “Eike Elektrik Ensemble” and the “Downbeatclub” will perform here and will delight the listeners with their groovy sounds. The Eike Elektrik Ensemble with members like Eike von der Leyen on the saxophone and Christoph Krieger on the drums will start at 2:00 p.m., followed by the Downbeatclub, who will take the stage at 4:30 p.m., reveals kulturprojekte-niederrhein.de.
A special treat are the historic blue light vehicles that are presented in Moers. These exhibits will certainly make the hearts of more than just technology fans beat faster. To top it off, visitors can enjoy Ukrainian and African snacks provided by the on-site dining options. Admission is free, but donations are requested, making the event easily accessible for families.
Event preparations and weather conditions
The Lower Rhine Cultural Projects have carefully planned everything so that the dump concerts should be a highlight despite possible weather influences. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the event will take place at short notice at the Schirrhof in Kamp-Lintfort (Friedrich-Heinrich-Allee 79, 47475 Kamp-Lintfort). A good plan for all weather conditions, so that no one has to miss out on live music!
