KLICK Children's Museum in Hamburg: Temporary new location and major renovation!
An exciting chapter begins for the KLICK Children's Museum in Hamburg! The popular museum for children and families is currently undergoing a thorough renovation and will be moving to a temporary location on Brandstücken Street, just 10 minutes (700 meters) from the old location on Osdorfer Born. This half was converted specifically for the museum so that little explorers can continue to experience culture and education up close. The Hamburg.de reports that the renovation of the building will cost a total of 10 million euros and is planned for a period of 2 to 3 years.
The KLICK has proven to be a real crowd-puller, and every year many inquisitive children flock to the exhibitions, which are suitable for children up to 12 years old. It is particularly pleasing that the Authority for Urban Development and Housing is supporting the project financially. In addition, the city of Hamburg will provide funds to cover the rent for the transitional location until the end of 2027.
