Eimsbüttel celebrates with a charity game: Allstars vs. HSV on September 12th!
An exciting encounter is just around the corner! On Friday, September 12th, it will be “kick-off” again at the ETV soccer field in the Hoheluft sports center. The Eimsbüttel team then competes against the traditional HSV team. The charity game is not only a sporting highlight, but also part of the celebrations for the 750th anniversary of the Eimsbüttel district. It's about much more than just winning on the pitch: the proceeds from the event will benefit the children's playhouse on the Eimsbütteler market square, as Eimsbütteler Nachrichten reports.
The event is organized in collaboration with the district assembly and Oster Streets e. V. realized. ETV brings some prominent faces onto the pitch. Among other things, the team is led by Andy Bergmann, the coach of Altona 93. Some former HSV players such as Richard Golz and André Trulsen have also announced their intention to play for a good cause.
Local talent and HSV icons
The players of the Eimsbüttel Allstars team are truly a dazzling ensemble: In addition to the athletes already mentioned, Jörn Großkopf, Uwe Eplinius and Thomas Megle are also part of the team. HSV assistant coach Loic Favé will also do his best, and the former district office managers Jürgen Mantell as well as Torsten Sevecke and Kay Gätgens, who are also playing, will bring additional interesting facets to the game. It is a real “exhibition” that also demonstrates the unifying power of football.
Entry costs just 2 to 4 euros - a good price for an event that makes the hearts of football fans beat faster! Tickets are available both online and at the box office.
The supporting program and the anticipation
Visitors can look forward not only to exciting football, but also to an entertaining supporting program. There will be food on site so no one goes hungry while the teams fight for victory. After the game, there will also be the opportunity to take photos and get autographs from the legends currently playing. A perfect evening for the whole family!
If you are looking for other events in the area, you will find them in Eimsbüttel. From an open 750 Years of Eimsbüttel Football Cup to children's parties - the variety is great and offers something for everyone, free entry is also a nice attraction in many cases. The upcoming art and music events in the ETV sports center are also worth a visit, as Hamburg.de reports.
So be there on Friday, September 12th at the Hoheluft Sports Center and support an important project while enjoying first-class football!
