FC Bayern Alzenau: With returnees and new talents in the regional league!
When FC Bayern Alzenau plays its first home game in the regional league against TSV Schott Mainz next Saturday, there will be great anticipation among both the players and the fans. The promotion from the Hessenliga was an eventful journey, and now it is important to ensure relegation in the new terrain. Coach Krso Ljubicic, who has formed a fresh team, is optimistic and hopes for an exciting season.
The team goes into the new season with a carefully put together squad. Particularly noteworthy are the three returnees Jihad (from FC-Astoria Walldorf), Hamza Boutakhrit (from Viktoria Aschaffenburg) and Maximilian Brauburger, who comes back after stints at Eintracht Frankfurt II and FC St. Pauli II. On the pitch, the Boutakhrit brothers, who together have over 300 Regionalliga games under their belt, as well as Brauburger, who made 59 appearances in the Regionalliga Südwest, are likely to be of great importance. In total, FC Bayern Alzenau has signed seven players with previous experience at the club, thereby demonstrating a good knack for strengthening the team.
The new additions in detail
But the club didn't just strike at the returning trio. A comprehensive change in the squad is noticeable after coaching changes also brought with it some departures. The squad was adjusted by a total of eight players, with two additions and five more new faces. Nils Fischer and Murata Masaki from VfB Ginsheim are the newcomers who bring a breath of fresh air into the team.
The young talents show promising approaches: Tobias Reithmeir, a 20-year-old central defender who is almost two meters tall, has been able to gain experience in the second Bundesliga. Christos Stoilas has 55 games in the regional league, while Marco Ferukoski and Daniel Haritonov, both playing on the left wing, promise a lot of potential. Haritonov was most recently a regular at Wacker Nordhausen, and Dominik Wüst, a striker from Greuther Fürth U23, was already impressive in the friendly against Viktoria Aschaffenburg.
Training progress and test matches
Preparations are in full swing and the last test ended with an impressive 5-0 win against SV Zeilsheim (association league). Ljubicic is enthusiastic about his team's progress and has already scheduled another duel against Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 to further test the team.
The first two games at the start of the season are of central importance for the FC Bayern Alzenau team. On Saturday they will face TuS Koblenz at 2 p.m., followed by another game against SV Gonsenheim on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Fans also have the opportunity to see the new players up close at a tournament in Viktoria Kahl and keep their fingers crossed for their team.
The signs point to a new beginning, and with the numerous new additions and returnees, FC Bayern Alzenau will do everything in its power to not only make the season successful, but also to underline its own ambitions. How will the team perform? We can look forward to the coming weeks!
