Anklam's B youth team unleashes a scoring frenzy: Niklas Siegert shines with a hat trick!
In an exciting test match last weekend, the B youth of VFC Anklam celebrated an impressive 3-1 win against the U-15 regional league team of Greifswalder FC. The match winner of the day was Niklas Siegert, who made a decisive contribution to the success with his three goals. Again Northern Courier reported, the team under the leadership of coach Jan Winter showed a stable defensive performance as well as successful switching games that shaped the game.
The VFC Anklam players were able to look forward to numerous opportunities, but were not always able to convert their individual class into points. Nevertheless, coach Winter drew a positive conclusion: “It was a good start for our newly formed team.” Despite the heat, some players were exhausted, but that didn't detract from the overall positive performance. For future games, Winter expressed potential for improvement in the areas of passing, running and fitness.
Another win before the winter break
The goal scorers in this game were Damon Hahn (2), Benjamin Kracht, Lukas Batthauer, Max Wachalski and Levi Sommer. Coach Winter described this match as a “good start to the test match phase”. The defense held tight and kept a clean sheet. Nevertheless, he admitted that there was a lack of concentration, precision and sometimes luck in the final - challenges that are simply part of the development of a young team.
Individual training as the key to success
An important aspect in the training of young football talents is still individual training. The blog of Stephan Klatt highlights the vital role this training plays in developing the skills of young athletes. It's not just about teaching technical skills, but also about injury prevention and the sustainable development of the players.
The challenges that arise when implementing individual training are diverse. It is all the more important that coaches like Jan Winter and Maik Hoffmann accompany the players on this path and give them the necessary tools to develop both personally and as a team.
The next test match is coming up next week, where the B youth team will play against SG Friedland/Siedenbollentin on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Two days later there is another duel against the club's C youth team. So it remains exciting to see how coach Winter's team will develop further.
