Triple success: 33 new nurses bring fresh wind to Pasewalk!
Today, a very special occasion took place in the Kulturforum Pasewalk: 33 newly trained nurses ceremoniously received their certificates. Headmistress Kerstin Latzkow and her mentors presented the documents to the graduates and highlighted their performance. "We are proud of this year, which convinced with diligence and perseverance," emphasized Latzkow and referred to the important acquisition of skilled workers for the clinics in the Uecker-Randow region.
The graduates completed their training in the Asklepios education center and gained practical experience in various facilities such as Pasewalk, Ueckermünde and Anklam. Out of 42 nurses started, 40 have reached the exam, whereby the two best could achieve an average of 1.6. Only seven test subjects have to repeat the exam, but have the chance to start again within the next six months. "The three Bachelor graduates from China who started the training are particularly remarkable," added Kai Firneisen, Managing Director of the Asklepios Clinic.
The future of care
A promising professional field: this is care in Germany. Society has the task of supporting those in need and older people, and politics is required to ensure sustainable care. As the Federal Ministry of Education and Research reports, there have been numerous initiatives in recent years that are promoting care research. These developments are necessary, because over 70 million legally insured persons in Germany are dependent on high -quality care. The projects that are promoted from the innovation fund aim to improve the quality of care and close supply gaps.
technological innovations play a crucial role. For example, as part of the “Nursing Novations 2030” initiative, the quality of life for nursing staff and the people to be cared for is being worked on. Research projects funded by the BMFTR are the aim of promoting technical assistance systems and digital solutions in order to facilitate everyday care.
Together for better solutions
An essential project that is supposed to shape the future of care is the research cluster "Future of Care". Funded since 2017, the project has now been continued by five years with 20 million euros. "The aim is to spread the technological innovations beyond model regions and reduce the burden on nursing staff," explains a spokesman for the cluster. In the first phase, the focus was on the development of new technologies; Now the practical transfer is in the foreground.
The innovations include robotic systems to relieve nursing staff and telemedical applications for monitoring the state of health of those in need of care. With the buddy concept, experienced care facilities support their new partners in the implementation of innovative technologies and thus create a network that shares knowledge and experience.Developments in the area of care are immensely important, not least because the quality of the care is increasingly in focus. It should not be forgotten that despite technical aids, the human element in nursing remains essential. Artificial intelligence cannot replace humanity and empathy that traces nursing staff.
Overall, it can be said that regional training in Pasewalk is a ray of hope in the nursing industry. The graduates bring fresh ideas and a lot of commitment - and that is exactly what will be needed in the future!
