Emma Hoffmann dances her way to success: 2nd place at the DiscoDance Cup!

Emma Hoffmann from the Tanzsportgemeinschaft (TSG) Lilienthalstadt Anklam caused a sensation at this year's DiscoDance Cup in Bochum. The talented dancer took an impressive second place out of 20 participants in the DiscoDance Solo Girls category of the adult Rising Stars. Not only has she made a name for herself, but she has also made it into the highest performance class of the competition, the SuperStars. For Emma, who has been working intensively with her trainer Saskia Dietrich for several years, this was a very special debut in the top category, where she achieved tied 15th place among 22 dancers. Nordkurier reports that this success is the result of hard work and passion.

But what actually makes DiscoDance so unique? This dance form combines aesthetics and athleticism at up to 140 beats per minute. She integrates elegant movements from ballet and contemporary, mixed with dynamic elements of hip-hop as well as jumps and turns. A sporting expression that demands both strength and grace!

A big event in Bochum

The DiscoDance Cup took place in the Rundsporthalle Bochum, organized by T.T.C. Red-white-silver Bochum. The event was a true celebration of passion and skill, with over 570 dancers from different regions and countries taking part. Surrounded by an international flair, numerous dancers from Belgium and other countries also competed, which further enhanced the competition. TAF Germany reports from the impressive performances where new glitter costumes were presented for the first time.

The top-class judges, including prominent names such as Raffaele Maffii from Italy and Sona Bandurova Kardosova from Slovakia, ensured fair assessments. This event served not only for immediate competition, but also as important preparation for many dancers for the upcoming World Championships in Poland. The organization also provided new slow music, which was well received by the participants and provided additional motivation.

The children's formations impressed with a high level of training performance and impressively showed what they can do. Marco Schmitz, responsible for organizing the protocol, was actively supported by Patric Olschewski to ensure that the event ran smoothly.

With her great result in Bochum, Emma Hoffmann not only demonstrated her personal performance, but also brought the passion of DiscoDance closer to a wider audience. We can't wait to see what the next competitions have in store for the young Anklamerin!
