Cat love you can touch: Lütt Wiehnacht” Advent market inspires!

Next Saturday, the Neukalen cat house will be transformed into a place of tranquility and warmth. As part of the “Lütt Wiehnacht” event, organized by the Demmin Animal Welfare Association, visitors have the opportunity not only to enjoy delicious food, but also to interact with the kittens who live there. Beautiful Christmas markets are a highlight of the season, but this Advent market promises to offer a very special, family atmosphere.

The offer is particularly charming: a large cake and tart buffet, homemade solyanka as well as mulled wine and punch await the guests. And the best part? There is no need to pay for the treats; instead, visitors are welcome to leave donations. These directly benefit around 30 kittens in the cat house who urgently need support Northern Courier reported.

A nice gesture for the animals

The income from donations is crucial for veterinary visits and general care for the animals. Club boss Kerstin Lenz is happy about the well-filled donation jar and hopes for many animal-loving visitors who would like to enrich their reserved Christmas season with a meaningful visit to the cat house.

You can also donate to animals in need in other ways. The Animal Welfare League, for example, offers the opportunity to do so directly via their website to donate. Whether via a donation form, PayPal or bank transfer, every cent counts! The use of donations is transparent: 80 cents of every euro goes directly to animal welfare to provide food and medical care for forgotten and abandoned animals.

During the Christmas season it is especially important not to just think about yourself. With a small gesture, such as a donation in someone else's name, you can not only help an animal in need, but also spread joy and charity. For an amount of 25 euros or more you will receive a Christmas certificate, which is a wonderful gift.

Community and help

The Animal Welfare League supports over 1,100 animals in 11 animal shelters nationwide and relies on the collaboration of committed employees and volunteers. It is a well-oiled wheel that works on a donation basis and provides quick help in urgent cases. Every contribution helps ensure that even animals that cannot be placed can spend their final years in dignity.

Take advantage of the opportunity not only to spend a nice time in the Neukalen cat house on Saturday, but also to make an important contribution to the well-being of these furry friends. Anyone who is interested in the event and would like to find out more about it can contact the dedicated animal protection activists at any time or visit the equally informative website Northern Courier look around.
