Anklam, Deutschland - The village of Zemmin experienced a happy festival on June 16, 2025 when this year's village and home festival opened its doors. Numerous visitors flocked to enjoy the hustle and bustle in the marquee and the diverse attractions. In wonderful sunshine, the atmosphere was simply splendidly and immediately got to the point: you know how to celebrate here!
The festival day was organized by the home club Summy in 1990, which was able to secure active support from many local helpers. In his speech, Roland Kick, deputy chairman of the association, emphasized the extensive solidarity and cohesion among the local associations. The pony rides were particularly popular, which was very well received under the care of Steffi Lietzau and her helpers. The little guests beamed with joy while rode through the festival area on the gentle animals. Another highlight was the model sports club Demmin, which offered visitors the opportunity to dash across the route with remote-controlled cars.The culinary offers were also impressive: While the guests in the tent enjoyed coffee and cake, women from the neighboring community of Bentzin contributed to the delicious selection. In addition to the sweet treats, the Jarmener Motoball team ensured that everyone was able to enjoy themselves by taking over the meals.
DJ Bernd from Loitz and Jan Tessin, the singing cowboy from Malchin, provided musical accompaniment. The entertainment program was rounded off by the appearances of the "Zemminer pond sluts", which in the post -program ensured a good mood and strong laugh in the marquee.

The next village and local festival in Zemmin is already in the starting blocks and is planned for June 28th next year. The preparations for this will certainly be carried out again in good cooperation between the clubs. The community's initiative is strong in Zemmin - this is not only evident in the organization of such festivals. In the past few months there have been numerous activities, such as the traditional “Italian evening” or the Thanksgiving Celebration in October, which sustainably strengthen the village identity.
