Klosterruine Eldena, 17493 Greifswald, Deutschland - An unforgettable jazz two ends! The Eldenaer Jazz Evenings Load from July 4 to 5, 2025 to the picturesque monastery ruin Eldena near Greifswald. This year, jazz lovers can look forward to the 44th edition of the festival, which is not only known for its relaxed atmosphere, but also for its impressive historical backdrop.

On Friday, July 4th, the Insomnia Brass Band opened, which was awarded the German Jazz Prize in 2023. He will also appear as part of Jazz Evenings and will take the audience into the surreal world of Japanese bestseller Haruki Murakami with his "Two Moons Quartet" . Gahler has created an album for his project, which brings well -known novel figures to life and implements literary motifs musically - and the best thing about it: You don't necessarily have to know Murakami's works to enjoy music. He is accompanied by Denis Gäbel (saxophone), Matthias Akeo Nowak (bass) and Ralf Gessler (drums).

The Eldena monastery ruins can be reached well by bike and car. It is only 15 minutes from the city center. Anyone traveling by car will find parking facilities in the places "Klosterruin", "Eldena", "Wieck" and at the lido. Access to the festival site is barrier -free and wheelchair accessible. The entrance is located at the ice cream parlor, where admission and box office open at 6:45 p.m. For visually impaired visitors there is the possibility to secure earlier admission after prior registration (03834 8536-2101).
