At a ceremony in Grabow, conducted by Economics Minister Wolfgang Blank, she received the award in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the nursing and care sector. Buchholz, who founded the “Nursing Team Baltic Sea Coast” in 2011 and works as managing director of Therapie- und Pflegehaus GmbH in Grimmen, now employs around 60 people and has made a notable name for herself in the industry. Her achievements have already been recognized in 2024 with the title “Woman of the Year” in the Vorpommern-Rügen district.

“It is important to identify the major challenges in the care industry and to actively look for solutions,” said Buchholz, who launched the first round table on care in Grimmen in February 2025. In this context, other companies have also received valuable recognition.
