Max Mähl fights his way to victory – Fight Night attracts 1,500 fans to Güstrow!

On November 29, 2025, there was spectacular celebration in the sports and congress hall in Güstrow when Max Mähl from Stralsund won his title as champion at Fight Night. The fight against Arno Pilß from Parchim kept the spectators in suspense until shortly before midnight and offered everything a boxing fan's heart could desire. After a tough first round in which Mähl had to overcome some difficulties, he ultimately managed to win. “Glad that it worked!”, he celebrated with his girlfriend Emily and a well-deserved beer.

The evening was packed with a total of 21 fights in boxing and K1, where around 1,500 spectators created a great atmosphere. The boxers' combination attacks were met with great applause. Organizer Christian Bürki was simply enthusiastic about Mähl and the main fight, which he praised as a “grenade”.

A promising future in the boxing ring

The 26-year-old Mähl still has big plans: In a bold decision, he plans to fight a fight without gloves to experience the “pure brutality” of boxing. He made another personal mark on his body by having the numbers 469 tattooed on his stomach - a homage to his time in Velgast.

Another act in the ring was the debut of Sascha Mühle, a 48-year-old personal trainer, who achieved his first victory against Robert Metzger. “That was exciting and I want more,” Mühle beamed after the fight and his fiancée Verena was visibly proud. The little fighters didn't miss out either: in the opening act, Einar Krafft (7 years old) and Erich Schwarz (8 years old) competed against each other, with the duel ending in a draw.

Intense duels and curiosities

The K1 duel between Artem Yazamenko and Lorenzo Pap was another highlight that ended with an early victory for Pap. There was also something unusual in Michel Delik's fight against Julian Fauck, where Delik appeared as an involuntary star: He had forgotten his jockstrap and had to change before the fight ended - also a draw. Spectators couldn't help but be amazed.

A sporting treat was the meeting of two footballers: Franz Hagemoser and Fridtjof Metschulat also entered the ring, with Metschulat emerging as the winner. Such extraordinary fights ensure that boxing is also very popular in this country, as shown not only by the viewer numbers, but also by the reporting on platforms such as Boxen1, which provides information about international and national boxing events.

The Fight Night in Güstrow was a sign of the dynamic development of boxing in Northern Germany. As Max Mähl continues to work on his career, fans can look forward to many more exciting fights as organizers and spectators celebrate this passion together.
