Fabian murder case: Investigators are asking for information from Güstrow!
A shocking violent crime has shaken the quiet town of Güstrow. On October 10, 2025, young Fabian disappeared, and the anxiety over his fate has kept the community in suspense. On October 14, four days after his disappearance, his body was found in a forest not far from the city. This tragic case raises many questions to which the authorities have so far been unable to provide answers. Such crimes not only leave emptiness and sadness in the hearts of relatives, but also unease among citizens.
In an update on November 5, 2025, the public prosecutor's office announced that Fabian was killed on the day of his disappearance and his body was then burned, presumably to cover tracks. According to investigations, the crime is said to have occurred between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The public prosecutor Harald Nowack explained that there were no suspects or even any arrests. The public prosecutor's office has so far ruled out a sexual offense. The reluctance to disclose information is closely related to the tactical reasons for the investigation.

The Rostock police have set up a tip line that is staffed regularly and are urgently asking the public for help. In particular, witnesses who were near where the suspect was found on October 10th are called upon to come forward.
On November 5th, the case will also be covered in the ZDF program “Aktenzeichen XY…unsolved” in order to generate as many clues as possible.
