New electricity masts on the L14: Drivers benefit from security!

Enjoyable news for all drivers! Two imposing scaffolds were built on the L14 between Strenz and Güstrow, which not only look chic, but above all serve the safety of road users. As the Nordkurier , the work started there at the beginning of the year. This measure not only promises short -term advantages, but is part of a larger project to improve the energy infrastructure in the region.

The stately scaffolding, which are designed as a grinding scaffolding, enable the cable between the newly built electricity pylons above the street. By September, you will upgrade the landscape and ensure that traffic is largely smooth - drivers can even drive under the scaffolding. However, an adaptation of the speed was recommended to continue to ensure security.

large innovations for the power grid

What is behind these impressive construction projects? A total of eight new electricity pylons will be created along the L14. These include four masts that update the line between Güstrow and Parchim Süd on a tension of impressive 380 kilovolt. The remaining four masts are aimed at the connection between Güstrow and Krümmel, which is assigned to the substation in Bredentiner Weg. For drivers, this not only means new masts, but also an expansion of the infrastructure there.

The substation in Bredentiner Weg is also subjected to a rejuvenation cure to adapt the network to future requirements. These measures are part of a comprehensive restructuring of the local power grid, as well as on the interactive map of the VDE fnn , the cables, which are also detailed in the construction and planning phase, shows in detail.

  1. locations of the new electricity pylons:
    • Güstrow - Parchim Süd: upgrade to 380 kilovolt.
    • Güstrow - Krümmel: Connection to the substation in Bredeniner Weg.
  2. scaffolding types:
    • sanding scaffolding to ensure the cable.
  3. planned completion: expected September 2025.
  4. Such changes are no coincidence. They show that progress is always on the move and in a dynamic country like Germany, the needs of consumers quickly react. It remains exciting to see how the new infrastructure will further strengthen the local power grid and what positive effects this could have for the region.
