Late renovation of Lindenallee: Jürgenshagen continues to wait!
Jürgenshagen, Deutschland - In Jürgenshagen, the renovation work on Lindenallee is faced with the conclusion, but delays have occurred. The comprehensive renovation extends to around 370 meters from the entrance to the Landesstraße 11 to the renewed bus turning loop. As Nordkurier , the poor condition of the street and serious abscesses and cracks required a full dismantling of the street and sidewalk covering.
The work that has been carried out since February 25 also included the renewal of the outdated rain drainage. This was no longer efficient and was replaced by a new rainwater line as well as modern retention and street processes. The drinking water pipe was also renewed in coordination with Eurowasser Nord, which contributes to increasing the quality of life in the region.
schedule and cost
The new roadway is currently being produced. The basis for this forms a frost protection and gravel application layer, which follows a string and cover layer made of asphalt concrete. The sidewalks are created in pavement construction. In addition to the roadway, the network of paths is also added: new banquets as well as on-board and channel systems are also part of the project. The overall investment amounts to around 1,430,000 euros, which shows that a lot of money is being taken in hand to make the road future -proof.
The asphalt work is planned for the period from August 1 to 8, whereby a full closure of the Lindenallee is necessary from August 6th to 8th. This was delayed by the originally desired completion by a few weeks at the end of June. The reason for this was the high number of supply lines that are laid in the construction site. In addition, an application for extension of the approval period was submitted until August 15th.
cost allocation and legal aspects
The question of cost sharing naturally occurs in conversation. As cost check , municipalities can cover the costs for road renovations to property owners. However, there is no legal upper limit for these costs, which vary depending on the scope of the renovation work and the number of properties concerned. Property owners are considered beneficiaries of improved road quality and are obliged to assume costs.
The cost allocation is not based on the length of the street, but depends on various factors, such as the type of road and the size of the plots. In many cases, the usual cost sharing is between EUR 3/m² and 50 EUR/m² - but in specific situations they can also be considerably higher.
It remains to be seen whether the Lindenalle is not only more secure, but also more beautiful after these renovation measures. The effort will certainly pay off in the positive living conditions for the residents.
