Despite the high temperatures that had to be troubled by visitors, the joy of the celebrations was unmistakable. The event, which started on Friday with an opening, had numerous families and friends flock to Schlossstrasse, where a colorful program was waiting for them. Mayor Stefan Pinnow and Vice-President Uwe Langmaack gave the event a solemn setting with their opening speeches, and the Ludwigsluster fanfare train ensured that the mood increased immediately.
The linden festival was particularly diverse this year, such as svz. There was a hustle and bustle in front of the main stage, while a children's and family festival took place at the same time. On the "dealer & gourmet mile" on Schlossstrasse and on Alexandrinenplatz, visitors could buy tasty and beautiful. In the evening the place filled again, especially during the town hall party, which was a big highlight of the festival.

On Saturday, the second day of the festival, local clubs, schools and daycare centers took over the stage program on Lindenstrasse. An exciting children's discover rally with 13 stations was also very popular. Another spectacle was the bathing duck campaign, in which 65 rubber ducks were let into the water. The fire brigade jeopardized quickly through the water to get the ducks safely ashore again, and the children cheered enthusiastically.
Especially the dance guards of the Techenin Carneval Club attracted attention on Sunday morning and contributed to the festive atmosphere. The castle garden, which also took place on Sunday, added a sporty highlight to the hustle and bustle. No major events were reported by the police and the organizers throughout the event, which only further increased the good mood of the visitors.

On Sunday afternoon, the linden festival ended with a cozy end and moderate hustle and bustle. Christin Pingel from the city administration addressed a thank you to everyone involved and the committed team of MC Ludwigslust. By the way, admission to the festival was free of charge, which made it easier to access and certainly encouraged many visitors to come.
