There is reason to celebrate in Ludwigslust! In the coming year, more precisely in 2026, the city will celebrate its 150th anniversary. Preparations for a great festival are already in full swing, and the residents are also invited to help shape part of these celebrations. On July 1st at 12 p.m. there will be a special campaign on the Schlossplatz: the number 150 will be shaped from humans. As Nordkurier reports, Nancy Stollenwerk leads the organization for this city anniversary, and already around 800 students registered.

But not only students are part of this campaign. Kitas, members of the senior advisory board and employees of the city administration have also agreed to come. In order to capture the special aerial photo campaign, photographer Ralf Drefin will use a drone that takes up the image from above. Since the battery of the drone only lasts 45 minutes, thorough preparations are necessary to ensure that everything runs smoothly. This recording could even serve as a cover for the anniversary brochure and be used for advertising for the city anniversary.
