Udo Jürgens tribute show: An evening full of music in Neubrandenburg!
Attention music lovers! On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the concert church in Neubrandenburg will be the venue for a very special event. Under the title “The Udo Jürgens Story – His Life, His Love, His Music”, the talented artists Gabriela Benesch and Alex Parker present a tribute show that honors the legendary chansonnier’s life’s work. Loud Northern Courier Parker is considered “the currently best-known and probably best Udo Jürgens interpreter” and promises to touch the hearts of visitors.
The event takes place in the impressive concert church of the four-gate city, which is considered one of the most beautiful concert halls in Europe. Reservix provides a look at the architectural treasures of the church, which, with its walls that are over 800 years old, represents a perfect symbiosis between modernity and history. Originally built as the main parish church in the 13th century, this brick Gothic building provides a unique backdrop for musical performances and has inspired many artists in the past, including the famous Caspar David Friedrich.
An evening full of evergreens
The show itself promises a nostalgic journey back to the time when Udo Jürgens conquered the world's stages with his evergreens like “Merci Cherie” and “I've never been to New York”. Director Erich Furrer has put together a program that captures the essence of Jürgens' music and philosophy of life and will create unforgettable moments for visitors. The event starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are already available on eventim.de.
The combination of first-class music and the extraordinary atmosphere of the concert church ensures that this evening will not only be a feast for the ears, but also for the eyes. If you have the opportunity, you shouldn't miss it!
