History conversations in Altwarp: Local heritage in focus!

Altwarp, Deutschland - In the Uecker-Randow region it will start soon! On Sunday, July 6th, an exciting four -part series of conversation events in the Heimatstube in Altwarp begins. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., everyone interested is invited to exchange ideas about local history in a cozy atmosphere. The whole thing is organized by the Kulturlandbüro, whose headquarters are in Pasewalk, together with the talented visual artist Kathrin Ollrog. A small snack ensures that the participants are also culinary.

The central theme of these events revolves around the importance of limits, the experiences of flight and displacement as well as the teachings that we can draw from past times for our future. These conversations offer a wonderful opportunity to reflect on local stories and to talk to each other. After the expiry of a four-year funding project, the cultural regional office was founded as a non-profit entrepreneurial company in order to continue to promote culture and the artists in southern Western Pomerania and to keep it alive, such as nordkurier.de reported.
