Pasewalk's hairdressers conquer Berlin Fashion Week with glamour!

What is the pulse of the fashion world? Exactly in Berlin, where the Berlin Fashion Week will once again become an international melting pot for designers and creative people. In the midst of this colorful hustle and bustle, the hairdressers Katharina Kleis and Hanka Gorsky from Pasewalk found a special platform to demonstrate their skills. The call from the renowned cosmetics brand La Biosthétique not only came as a surprise, but also at the perfect time.

With a team of 20 make-up artists and just as many hair stylists, they were appointed to the group of people responsible for over 60 models. They were able to shine at the impressive Marc Cain Show on July 18, 2025. For the team, this participation marks the third year in a row and the fifth overall. They can also proudly look back on third place in the test customer competition among 65 salons from Germany and Austria.

An exciting experience behind the scenes

Before the actual catwalk event, an intensive training session was held during which the designers communicated their ideas and changes for the models. “No model goes on stage without the designer’s approval,” says Kleis. The hairdressers had the pleasure of looking after Dutch supermodel Romee Strijd. Hanka Gorsky was able to put the finishing touches on this beauty shortly before her appearance.

What transpired behind the scenes was marked by the kind of excitement one would expect in such a place. There were photographers and brand employees everywhere, creating a lot of activity. Among the stars present there were also some well-known faces without any star airs: Ronan Keating, Sylvie Meis, Frauke Ludowig and Jessica Haller mingled with the models, friendly and approachable as we know them.

Trends and new products in sight

“We are not only taking our experiences with us, but also the new trends that will be very popular in the coming year,” emphasizes Kleis. At Fashion Week, not only the looks of the models but also the products used are constantly being developed. In cooperation with La Biosthétique, Kleis and Gorsky had the opportunity to work with innovative products that are not yet on the market.

Kai's specialty and the special focus of the entire event was on a uniform and striking look. That's exactly what Alexander Dinter had prepared, with impressive wigs and a well thought-out make-up concept that conveyed an expressive and well-groomed overall impression, as La Biosthétique describes.

While Berlin Fashion Week takes place twice a year and has recently launched platforms to support young designers, the team of Katharina Kleis and Hanka Gorsky was once again part of this dynamic environment that will draw the fashion world from February 5, 2024 to July. A real highlight of Berlin Fashion Week, which not only represents an exciting experience for the participants, but also ensures that exciting fashion trends are covered.

With a breath of fresh air behind the scenes and the exchange with many other hairdressers and stylists, it is no wonder that the hairdressers at Naturel would readily accept the same great opportunity to return to Berlin Fashion Week at the next opportunity.
